After this cool weekend (almost winter like), fall is definitely in the air. For the next few weeks we'll be exploring apples, pumpkins, and other activities we do during the fall. Flu vaccinations are this Wednesday, so please turn in your permission forms.

Mat Man

Feelings
To start off our Second Step: Violence Prevention Curriculum, we are learning about feelings. This curriculum will help the class be able to describe feelings AND start to understand that their actions can affect how someone else is feeling.

All About Me
I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! We're going to be doing a lot of graphing this week to talk about similarities and differences and also talk about more/less. Hopefully by the end of next week we will be finishing up our assessment on everyone.
*don't forget to fill out your form for Grandparent's Day breakfast/lunch (Wed., Sept. 7th)
*we're sending home a scholastic books order form. Make sure to call or email if you have any questions
*FAMILY PROJECT: decorate your child's sheet of construction paper with pictures of family and pictures of some of your child's favorite things (color, toy, book, movie, food...)
